Beloved husband of the late Mary; loving father of Robert (the late Marta) and Richard (Sandra); dear grandfather of Sergio, Brian, and Caitlin; cherished brother of the late Rocco (Margaret); adored uncle of many.
Pat exemplified a life well lived. With humble beginnings, he assumed the role of "man of the house" when his Father passed away at an early age. Later, as a teenager, Pat's nickname was Fideo because he was as thin as a spaghetti noodle. This didn't stop him from placing in the CYO boxing finals. Life's hurdles were just minor obstacles as he pursued a life beyond the old Taylor Street neighborhood.
After meeting the love of his life, Pat and his bride raised their family in the Edgewater community of Chicago where they lived together for nearly 70 years. And of course, he was a devout Cub fan. A proud Father and Grandfather, Pat was a teacher by example. His acts of kindness and compassion were admired and appreciated by all who knew him.
Pat has once again joined his wife Mary for an eternal life together.
