Peter Brink

Born in Essen, Germany on July 29, 1953, Peter would immigrate to the United States in 1966 with his mother and stepfather to start life anew. It was here that he would discover his love of cars, working in the automobile industry for nearly 50 years until his retirement.

Peter’s sense of adventure never dwindled. He was always cracking jokes and loved nothing more than having a good time. He especially enjoyed driving in his beloved Porsche and riding his motorcycle with his friends Fred, Frank, Ron, and Tom.

While he faced many hardships throughout his younger years, Peter proved that he was able to overcome these challenges and do better for not only himself, but his loved ones. Nothing compared to how much he treasured his family. He was a loyal husband, as well as a loving and playful father who fully embraced his role as a girl dad.

He is survived by wife Connie and daughters Christina (Gabriel) and Katie.

We will miss his silly jokes and tender care.

A visitation for Peter will be held Saturday, August 9, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Drake & Son Funeral Home, 5303 North Western Ave, Chicago, IL 60625, followed by a funeral service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
