Remedios (Remy) Sarmiento, age 81, was born into life in Bulacan, Philippines, in January of 1933, and born into eternity surrounded by her loving family on May 9, 2014; loving mother of Portia (Thomas) Guerin, Agustin (Alma) Sarmiento, Maria Victoria Sarmiento, and the late Agustin Sarmiento III; adoring grandmother of Lauren, Gabrielle, Joshua, and Jed Asher Sarmiento, and Alex Guerin; dear daughter of the late Meliton & Maria Agulto; caring sister of Leticia (Isidro) Sediego; fond aunt of Emma Pitel Sewell and Sonia Favis; cousin of Josie Sarne Lim, Rolly and Mandy Sarne; relative and friend to many in Bulacan and Baguio City, Philippines, and in the Mid-West and the West Coast of the United States.

Remy was very civic-minded and was active in numerous women’s organization in Baguio and a hard-working business woman and owned several businesses.
