Rosalie and Russell Ditusa

Loving parents of Cheryl (Thomas Brennan Sr), Russell Jr (Cynthia Sowa DiTusa), Nicolas (Paula DiTusa); cherished grandparents of Jason Cerniglia (Tracy), Thomas Brennan Jr., Claire Gomez (Timothy Gomez), Elliott DiTusa (Sara Radin DiTusa); adoring great grandparents of Noah Cerniglia, Colby Gomez, Miles Gomez, Frances DiTusa, and Clementine DiTusa.

Russell and Rosalie built their long lives around family: First and foremost. It began in 1948 with them taking care of one another:

He was her chauffeur,

She was his cook.

He was the storyteller,

She was the listener.

He was her protector,

And she was his home.

The one thing they shared was the joy in providing for and giving to others. Family meant everything to them, and our Lake Geneva house was the perfect place for us to be together to share good times and meals.

Memories like that, and so many more, will live forever in our hearts and minds. We love you, Mom-Myna and Dad-Papa.

There will be a visitation for Rosalie and in memoriam of Russell on Tuesday September 24, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home 6901 West Belmont Avenue, Chicago, IL 60634.

To follow, there will be a joined memorial service for Rosalie and Russell at their graveside at Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery 3100 North Thatcher Avenue, River Grove, IL at 11:30 AM.
