Rose Herula

Rose was a loving wife of the late Edward A. Herula for 30 years and loving mother to Maryrose (Don Congdon), Sandi (Frank Roberson), Gina (Salvatore Cannella), Donna (Tony Nardiello) and the late Edward A. Herula, Jr. She was the cherished grandmother to Stephen, Pam, Courtney, Jamie, Jodie, Robert, Janine, Jaqlyn and Anthony. Rose was a beloved great-grandmother to Mateo and Emilio. She was a loving sister to Jennie Pons and dear aunt to many nieces and nephews.

In addition to caring for her family, Rose was an energetic person who enjoyed her job as a lunch lady at Chicago Public Schools, gardening, going to garage sales, attending her grandchildren’s activities and music concerts.

Visitation Wednesday, July 17th from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home, 6901 W. Belmont Avenue, Chicago. Final Viewing Prayers from the funeral home Thursday, July 18th at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. at St. Celestine Catholic Church, 3020 N. 76th Court, Elmwood Park. Interment St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery, Niles.
