Susana Galindo

Susana was born on July 21, 1936 in Guatemala to Hans Heinrich and Susana (Rodriguez) Muller. She met her husband Alberto Galindo and they were married on May 26, 1953. They went on to have many happy years together.

Susana worked as a housekeeping supervisor at Edgewater Hospital for over 30 years before retiring. She was passionate about being involved in her church and reading her Bible. She was also known to try her luck at scratch-offs.

Preceding Susana in death are her parents Hans Heinrich and Susana Muller; her brothers Carlos, Guillermo, Hans, and Jorge Muller; and her beloved husband Alberto Galindo.

Susana is survived by her children Luis (Guadalupe) Galindo, Ana (Michael) Tadder, Patricia (Ricardo) Perez, Carmen (Jaime) Botero, and Aura (Kevin) Hidalgo; her grandchildren Ana Dinette Gonzalez, Clancy Galindo, Ingrid Galindo, William Tadder, Christopher Tadder, Daniel Tadder, Ricky Perez, Jessica Roche, Jennifer Munoz, Rocio Botero, Amy Botero, Adriana Botero, Celina Perez, Stephanie Hidalgo, Kristina Cunningham, and George A. Hidalgo; and many adoring great-grandchildren. Susana was also a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews and a friend to all.

A visitation for Susana is scheduled for Thursday, April 4, 2024 from 3-7PM at Drake and Son Funeral Home, 5303 N. Western Ave., Chicago, IL, 60625. A funeral service will then take place the following day, Friday, April 5, 2024, at 11AM at the funeral home. Interment at Rosehill Cemetery, 5800 N. Ravenswood Ave., Chicago, IL, 60660.
