Virginia A. Andrews, 86, née Bravieri of Des Plaines passed away at her home on Friday August 29, 2014. Born in Chicago on Friday November 11, 1927 to Peter and Rosalind(née Menconi) Bravieri. She inspired others with her strength, dignity and grace to the very end. Devoted wife of the late Paul; beloved sister of the late Gertrude (Mario) Caldarella; loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Andrews is also survived by her loving and caring caregiver Maria Slowik. Visitation Thursday September 4, 2014 from 9:30am until time of service 11:00am at The Montclair-Lucania Funeral Home 6901 W. Belmont Avenue Chicago. Interment to follow at Mount Olive Cemetery Chicago. In lieu of flowers donations to the Animal House in Huntley, IL.
