William J. Nanos, 94, WW II Veteran, of Chicago, passed away peacefully Jan. 30, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Nancy, nee O’Shea; loving father of Maria Nanos (Lynn Briskin) and Stella K. Nanos (John Scali); devoted brother of Stella Nanos and the late Anthony J. Nanos; dear brother in law of Mary (Paul) Gregoline, Connie (the late William) Koopmann and the late Jack (Jeanne) O’Shea, the late Kay (the late John) Porter and the late Bill (Joan) O’Shea; fond uncle and great uncle of many.
