Graveside service for James F. Garrett, age 86 of Harpersville, will be Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 12:30PM at Harpersville Cemetery with the Rev. Matt Britt officiating. Visitation will be from 11-12 at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel.
Mr. Garrett passed away March 8, 2021 at his residence.
Uncle Frank was a very humble man. He was a cotton farmer for many years and sold produce for more than 8 years after farming. He never had any children of his own, but raised his niece, Patricia Gardner like his own daughter. He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Wilma Jean Garrett. He was the last survivor of 10 brothers and sisters and was born and raised in Harpersville.
He was survived by his Nieces: Patricia Gardner (Dewayne), Sue Hartman (Donald), Pam Barbee (Danny) and many great nieces and nephews.
