Funeral service for Linda Joyce Carter, age 69, of Childersburg will be Sunday, April 29, 2012 at 2PM at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel with the Reverend Paul Hickman officiating. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery. She was preceded in death by brother: Billy Ruddy. She attended Calvary Baptist Church and was a very loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her Son: Shane Carter of Harpersville, Daughter: Kathy Murphy and husband Keith of Childersburg, Special Daughter: Mandi Phillips and husband Josh of Childersburg, 3 Grandchildren: Alibug, Kelli, Josh, 2 Great Grandchildren: Madisyn and Walker, Brother: Harry Ruddy and Sisters: Banona Woodard, Sylvia Robinson and Nancy Andrews. Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel will direct the services.
