Verlyn Bettis

Verlyn Bettis, age 79, of Childersburg, Alabama passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022. Verlyn was born February 18, 1943. Verlyn is survived by her son Joshua Bettis (Monica); her daughter Tammy Buchanan; and her daughter Marlene; her grandchild Somer Bettis, her grandchild Sawyer Bettis, her grandchild Joey Hall and her great grandchild Cara Hall. Verlyn was preceded in death by her husband Fred W. Bettis; her son Johnny Newsome. A visitation for Verlyn will be held Monday, May 16, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at North Chapel, Sylacauga, AL, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
