Barry was such a dear friend, but more than that , he was a brother in Christ!! We miss him, yet feel enriched for having the time we did. He was an inspiration, and a man of prayer!! Anita sorry to hear about your loss. It was at a hard time with all the co-vid things going on. I have a few friends that lost there love ones around this time.
Sorry we lost touch when you moved to Chilliwack. Still living at the same place in Vancouver but I also own a place in Gibsons if  you would like to have a beautiful place to travel too. I have been out of work since mid March so been mainly living on the coast but my studio is still here in Vancouver. Vancouver is still a land line and hope to hear from you.


My best friend and husband passed away four months ago. 
Taken from a card I received with Love and Prayers: 
For now,... say: "because I have loved, I must hold this ache of loneliness within myself and say, This is the price I pay for having loved.  I will accept this price and pay it in gratitude for the love I was blessed to know, for I would not have wanted to be without love.  I will thank God for the wonderful years we shared. Remembering the good times, Remembering the moments filled with delight.   Remembering Barry.

Not long ago Barry and Anita moved into our strata. I did not know anything about them but enjoyed a hello and helping out with a few troubles at their unit. Barry and Anita attended the same church as my wife and I and it was not long as we got to know them  we knew how special people they were. I was shattered when I found out Barry was ill with no warning and My wife and I were so helpless in his fight. A wonderful man and sure do miss him being here to talk to. We will see you one day in heaven, kind fellow.

I was saddened to hear of Barry's passing. When I was the Head Golf Professional at The St. Catharines Golf Club, with the assistance of Barry we covered on radio The Canadian Open at Cherry Hills in Ft. Erie. We further connected when I moved to Vancouver. He was a gentleman, and fine individual. He will be missed. Please convey my deepest sympathies to the family.

I worked with Barry at CKNW many years ago.  I always enjoyed his passion for the game of golf.  After quite a struggle and fight, he was able to get a golf show on the air.  Looking back, he was way ahead of his time...Golf Channel on TV was many years away.  We lost contact over the years, but I will always remember what a pleasure it was to work with  Barry.  My condolences to his family and friends at a very difficult time.  Wayne.

Barry was my 1st cousin and I remember many times riding in his Austin-Healey "bug eye" Sprite in the early '60s.
Travelling the Don Valley parkway after leaving Maple Leaf Gardens and stopping for pepperoni pizza was very special for me
Had many dinners with Art, Florence and Barry and always enjoyed the get together

I'll never forget Barry's enthusiasm for studying the Scriptures.  Our many times together with our friends studying the Bible over the years are the memories I will never forget.

Rest in the Lord, Barry. And many blessings and condolences to you, Anita.

I am so sad to hear that Barry has passed.  He was a dear friend that I loved deeply.  We had a few wonderful years in 1971-1973

I was so happy when he told me that he had married you because he deserved the best. Please accept my heartfelt condolences to you, your family and friends.
