Brenda Gail Knapp

Brenda was born on May 8, 1951, in Calgary, Alberta, to Lily and William (Bill) Haden. She passed away on February 8, 2026, at the age of 74. Her family would like to sincerely thank the compassionate and dedicated staff at Chilliwack General Hospital for their unwavering care and support, which will always be remembered with gratitude.

Brenda leaves behind her loving mother, Lily; her devoted husband, Steve; her children, Wendy, Doug, John, Chantal and her husband Chris, and Robert (Bob) and his wife Kennedy; as well as her two stepsons, Everett and Cory. She was a proud grandmother to Lillie, Mathew, Wyatt, Michael, Naomi, Lyla, and Haden. Brenda also has two surviving nieces, Laura and Janet.

Brenda was a generous and kind-hearted woman with a wonderful sense of humor. She always went above and beyond for those she loved. She had a passion for travelling, palm trees, swimming, animals and helping others.

She was predeceased by her former husbands, Robert (Bob) Hebert and Wayne Mathews; her father, Bill; her brother, Richard; and her nephew, Stephen.

Brenda will be forever loved and deeply missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Henderson Funeral Home Tea Room, 2pm.
