Christina Reid

Christina (Chris) Reid passed away peacefully on June 10, 2024 at Hope, B.C. with family at her side at age 81 years. She was born on August 15, 1942 in a small town near Glasgow Scotland but was raised in London, England after the war.

Chris emigrated with her family to Canada on April 1,1968 and raised her four kids in North Delta with summers at their cabin on Lake Samish while working full time. She was an accountant with Cloverdale Paint and then Kelly Douglas prior to opening her own private practice in North Delta until she retired. Upon retiring Chris and John spent a lot of their time traveling, golfing or enjoying their cabin (a home away from home) with family and friends.

Chris spent the last several years of her life in the wonderful care of Fraser Hope Lodge where she enjoyed singing, going on outings and visits from her family. Chris will be missed by all.

Chris is survived by her sons: Sean Reid (Lisa) and Andrew Reid (Rhonda), her daughter Barbara Reid-Roberts (Lee), her son-in-law Richard, her grandchildren: Tessa Davis, Tyson Reid, Janelle Masztalar (Rob), Tyler Reid (Nicole) and Sydney Reid (Lara) and five great-grandchildren; her sister, Ella Dimech (Tony) and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her loving husband John, her parents Joseph and Ann Pandolfino, her sister Evelyn, and her daughter Dana.

A mass and celebration of life will be held on June 24, 2024 at 11 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Parish, 8909 Mary St., Chilliwack, BC.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada in lieu of flowers.
