It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cindy Michelle Polesello, age 50, who left us peacefully on August 13, 2024, surrounded by her loving family after a brave battle with ALS.
Born on November 14, 1973, Cindy was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of many.
Cindy was preceded in death by her father Williams George Ostaficiuk (Bill) who was married to Mona Ostaficiuk). Cindy is survived by her beloved 18-year-old daughter, Jordan Polesello, who was the light of her life. She is also survived by her devoted mother, Gail Ostaficiuk (Bob Elliott), and her sister, Sheri Clark, along with Sheri's family: Matt, Brynn, and Amy Clark. The love and support among this family was a source of strength for Cindy and brought her joy throughout her life.
As a mother, Cindy exemplified unconditional love and dedication. She poured her heart into raising Jordan, fostering a deep bond between them filled with laughter, encouragement, and mutual respect. Cindy's passion for motherhood was evident in every facet of her life, as she strived to create a nurturing environment for Jordan to thrive. Cindy's kindness extended beyond her family. She had a beautiful ability to connect with others and offered her support to friends, co-workers and neighbors alike. Known for her vibrant spirit and infectious laughter, Cindy could brighten any room and make those around her feel seen and valued. Cindy also had a love of cats and missed her beloved Jasper who passed earlier this year, but found joy again with her new kitten Cali.
A special thanks to all the Health Care Workers who whose thoughtful care for Cindy is greatly appreciated.
Cindy Michelle Polesello will be deeply missed but will forever hold a special place in the hearts of her family and friends. Her legacy of love, resilience, and compassion will continue to inspire those she touched. May she rest in peace, knowing she was deeply loved. A Celebration of life will be announced later.
