Daniel was born on June 1, 1946, in Calgary, Alberta, to his loving parents, Rose and John Howton.
He is survived by his wife, Jean; his sister, Virginia (Ray) Sharp; and many other family members.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 17th, at 2:00 pm at Kingsway Foursquare Church 4061 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC V5H 1Z1.
Burial will take place in Sundre, Alberta, in the new year.
