Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Susan. He had the honor of being a father to their two beautiful children: Michael Kind (Bonnie) and Melanie Houlker (Paul). He was also a devoted grandfather to three grandchildren: Abbygail, Payton, and Bronson, all of whom he cherished dearly.
He was predeceased by his father, Lewis, in 1963; his mother, Joyce, in 1994; and his brother, Edward Kind, in 2021.
In 1981, Daniel started his business, Superior Doors. Later, in 1993, he sold that business and embarked on a new venture with Mainline Doors and Gate. He then worked at Goodbrand Door and Gate, which he stayed with until he end of his career.
As per Daniel's wishes, there will be no funeral services.
