David Walter Rowan

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my brother David Walter Rowan on October 30, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. David leaves behind the love of his life Charity Jones, her son Cody, myself Brian (Denise), Troy (Irene), Byron (Mary), Bruce Allen, Doug (Cindy) & golfing buddy Glen. I also want to include all of David's cherished friends too numerous to mention, but you know who you are.

David will always be known as a community-oriented man giving back to his beloved Chilliwack the best way he could. David would hold a Christmas raffle raising money for a struggling single mom to ensure that they would have a good Christmas. David also enjoyed being a part of the Mudd Truck racing community along with spending time on the green with his golfing buddy Glen trying to achieve his Albatross. Another pleasure in life David been going camping with his love Charity & her son, meeting up with Troy & Irene. I also want to mention the Three Musketeers, Troy, Doug & David. I am sure there was some mischief making but nothing that can be said in mixed company.

I look back and think fondly of you and I as kids hitch hiking up to Cultus Lake with Bruce Allen, to Sunny Side Beach to explore, and our time spent with Auntie Lucille and Uncle Bill & their kids, this time together was always fun and free spirited.

David, I will miss you. Thank you for being my brother.
