DENNIS RICHARD AST passed away on February 19, 2025 at Chilliwack General Hospital at the age of 77. He was born October 14, 1947 in Chilliwack, BC. Denny is survived by his loving spouse Irene Lulik; his daughter Laurie Wortley and her partner Hendrik; his son Doug Ast and his wife Lori. His grandchildren Evan, Jessica ,Julia, Jaime (fiancé Ty) and Matthew; and his sister Sandra Fishwick.
He was predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Thelma Ast, and brothers Larry and Bob.
Denny had a heart of gold and a sense of humour that could light up any room. He was like a cat with nine lives, always bouncing back with a laugh, no matter what life threw his way. We will always remember his jokes, his smiles and his positivity regardless of his endless health scares.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
