Eunice Lorraine Moffat passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Eden Care Centre, Chilliwack, BC at the age of 92 years. She was born on July 27, 1932 in Lucerne, Gatineau, Quebec. Eunice is survived by her daughters, Deborah Buck (Peter), Barbara Hennessy, and son James Moffatt; three grandchildren, Tyler (Lindsay), Jenny (Andrew), and Mitchell, as well as three great-grandchildren, Maya, Lincoln, and Griffin. She was predeceased by the love of her life for 69 years, Carl, in 2018; her parents, Charles and Daisy Cook; sisters Fern, Elsie, Mary, and brother Ruel. Aunt “Eunie” also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the staff at Eden who provided wonderful care for Eunice and showed us such kindness throughout her last years. Special thanks to Dr. Donnelly for her unwavering dedication, support, and compassionate care of Mom.
Mom, you will be forever in our hearts and missed greatly. Rest in peace. You were a blessing on Earth and now Heaven holds you until we meet again.
