Gabe spent his childhood years in Chilliwack, BC, living on a small farm with his adoptive parents. He grew up with many pets, large and small, his favourite being his pony “Black Beauty” and a fluffy silky chicken which he would cart around. Gabe’s adult life presented many challenges, but in his final stop in Kamloops, at the John Howard Society’s Georgian Court, he found success and purpose. He was an active hiker, mountain biker and participant in community events. He shared his success with other residents and with fellow AA members.
The family would like to thank the John Howard Society (Thomson Region), Alcoholics Anonymous, and his many acquaintances who provided support and friendship to Gabe in his new life in Kamloops.
