An ordained Minister of the Gospel, Reverend Jerry-Cooper was born in Bristol England, Oct. 1922. In 1941 he enlisted in the Royal Navy and served aboard submarine chasers and torpedo boats. Jerry immigrated to Canada in 1955, serving as the Rector in Brandon, Manitoba at St. Mary’s Church and then as the Honorary Canon of St. Matthew’s Cathedral. Jerry was an active private pilot in the Brandon Flying Club and a Master Mason earning his Royal Arch Degrees, serving the Shrine and playing in the Oriental Band. Jerry’s last move was to Chilliwack, BC, where he spent his happiest years dancing with Kathy and sharing much laughter with best friends Bertha and Helen. No service by request.
