

Ivor was born June 21, 1936 and grew up in Richmond, BC, but managed to travel a bit with moves to Winnipeg, Manitoba for a few years before returning to Richmond. Another move for work took him to Red Deer, Alberta where he remained for many years with his family. Ivor then took a management position and moved to Nampa, Idaho USA. From Idaho, Ivor moved back to Port Coquitlam and Abbotsford before retiring in Hope.
He was predeceased by his mother Elsie Lydia Saundry (nee Allen), his father, Ivor Henry Saundry, wife Patricia Irene Saundry (nee Myers), brother Douglas Saundry, and son Dean Saundry.
He is survived by his wife Roseann Saundry (nee Benson), son Paul Saundry (Cheri), daughter Lynda Saundry, daughter Michelle Benson (Nee Saundry) (Gary), his brother Ken Saundry (Marilyn) and many grand children.
Ivor led a full life, from driving and fixing race cars, being involved in baseball and hockey most of his life, serving in the RCMP, a family man, and being part of the U-Haul family for over 30 years. Anywhere he went, he would light up a room with his warmth, big smile and kindness. He will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Service for Ivor will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Avenue Chilliwack, BC V2P 1B5.
