It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our precious daughter, Kimberley Ann Devlin. Kimberley was born February 11, 1980 in The Pas, Manitoba and passed away on June 20th, 2021 in Chilliwack at the age of 41 years young.
She leaves behind her mother Jane, father Shane and step-mother Judi. Also, her sisters Lisa (Kevin), Kriston (Marco), Jamie (Tom), and brother Ryan (Michelle) along with nephew Brandon (Renee), nieces Meghan, Emma, Molly and Nora and her Grandma Renvinille-Bev. Predeceased by Grandparents Bill & Hetti, and Granny "D".
Kimberley graduated from Sardis Senior Secondary School. After high school, she travelled throughout the world and visited many countries, finally settling in Toronto, where she worked for many years at the Air Canada Centre in customer service. Kimberley made many close friendships when she lived in Toronto. From there, Kimberley worked with The Keg franchise in Toronto, Banff and Vancouver. In 2010 she worked at the Vancouver Winter Olympics from which she had many fond memories. Some of her best times was when she lived in Tofino where she was close to the ocean and her love of surfing.
Kimberley had an incredible zest for life and threw herself into whatever she was doing. We will miss her courage, her positive attitude, her sense of humour, and her ability to brighten up any room with her infectious smile.
Kimberley had many passions in her life, including travel, surfing, various sporting activities, fitness and fashion. She volunteered as a coach for the Special Olympics in Vancouver where she loved spending time with young athletes. Kimberley was the type of person who lived and loved big. She would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. We will miss her bubbly spirit.
A celebration of life in memory of Kimberley will be held on Sunday, July 11th, 2021 at 2:00 pm. The service will be held at Main Street Church, 45830 Princess Avenue, Chilliwack.
For those unable to attend in person, the family will be sharing a You Tube link that will be provided on this site at a later date.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations would be welcomed in Kimberley Devlin’s Memory to the Ronald McDonald House Charities, British Columbia & Yukon. This is one of the many charities Kimberley volunteered for. I’ve included the link below.
