Laura Marie Morelli

passing of Laura Marie Morelli, on January 3,

2024, at Chilliwack General Hospital. She was born Laura Marie Barry,

on January 8, 1947, in Vancouver, British Columbia, and was less than

a week away from celebrating her 77th birthday.

She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and

friend. She had a profound love for animals and nature. Over the years

she had many beloved pets.

Laura was full of grace, kindness, and

unwavering love. On May 20, 1967, Laura

exchanged vows with the love of her life,

Frederick Morelli. Their marriage was full of

love and adventures until Frederick’s tragic passing on June 10, 1977.

Laura’s legacy extends through her beloved

daughter, Sarah Jane Morelli (David Fransoo), who mourns the loss of a

caring and compassionate mother. Laura’s nurturing spirit was evident

in the love she showered upon Sarah, creating many memories that will

be cherished forever.

Laura will be mourned by her loving siblings (Juanita Fedoruk, Linda

Muxlow, Mike Barry, and Tim Barry (predeceased), extended family and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Laura’s life

will be held on January 16, 2024 at 11:00 am

at Henderson’s Funeral Home, with burial

following at Chilliwack Cemeteries.

May she rest in eternal peace.
