Leo passed away in the early hours of March 2, 2020. He leaves behind his son, Jeff Robidoux (Lisa), grandson Kyle Robidoux, and his daughter Kim Darbyshire (Dean) and grandsons Mason and Carter Darbyshire. He spent his last hours with his love, Bev Fisher, by his side who lovingly and devotedly cared for him and shared love and laughter with him in his last years.
Leo shared his passion for cars, music and sports with everyone he knew. He grew up in Ontario racing, building and enjoying muscle cars, and eventually made his way to the west coast where he met Monica and started a family. Leo was proud to have worked at the Ford Motor Company Assembly Plant in St. Thomas, Ontario, but spent many years as a truck driver. He loved to coach hockey and many players at Grandview Minor Hockey in East Vancouver will remember him.
He was a social guy, mixing Spanish coffees and turning the music up loud. He was happiest with a house full of people, and a record on the turntable.
Jeff and Kim are saddened by the loss of their dad, but ask those who knew him to raise a glass and toast his lust for life, his storytelling abilities and his devotion to the three young men whom he adored: Kyle, Mason and Carter.
