Lisa passed away suddenly at the age of 51. Born in Oliver, British Columbia, she spent most of her life in a nomadic lifestyle, but always considered Chilliwack, British Columbia, her home. She is survived by her Mother Alice, Sister Tracy, Bother Paul, Daughter Sara, Sons Jamie & Jacob, Grandson Grayson and Nephews Jeffery & Brandon. She is predeceased by her Father Jim Millar, and niece Tamaira “Molly” Point.
Lisa will be forever missed by those who knew her. Her strong will and hard work ethic was well-known to the people around her. Her love for her children was never dimmed by the struggles of her life. Lisa is well known for the role she played in the Chilliwack community in the times of the Market days. Every Wednesday & Saturday, she would be at what is now known as Central Community Park, situated next to
Henderson’s Funeral Home, bright and early to sell fresh Produce and Grandma’s loaves of bread to the Chilliwack Community. Working alongside her Father, Mother and many other people, this is the legacy she and her Father will leave behind. Despite the challenges our Mother faced in life, the love she had for her children was never questioned. She will be remembered as the mother who came to our class dressed as the Easter Bunny, celebrated birthdays and could find the silver linings in most situations. Lisa will be deeply missed by her children, family and friends. She was a great friend, attentive daughter and loving mother.
A service will be held for her at Henderson’s Funeral Home in Chilliwack on Tuesday, August 26th, 2025 from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm.
