It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother Lorraine LeBlanc (nee Gallant) at Cascades Hospice on Saturday March 2, 2019 in her 101st year. Born in Acadieville, New Brunswick June 25, 1917, Lorraine was the loving wife to the late Patrick of 42 years, mom to Rheal and Jessie (deceased), John and Vivian, Murielle and Jimmy (deceased), Irene and Bill (deceased), Paul and Jean, Patsy and Frank, Laetitia and Rick, Vincent, and was predeceased by son Roger and two infants. She is survived by two sisters.
Completely devoted to her family, Lorraine willingly invested her love to all in so many ways not the least of which was her fantastic baking and cooking which Rick claimed was the best east of Ontario. She had an infectious smile which was made more so whenever she thought of her 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Mom, you will be sorely missed, and we give thanks for and celebrate the long life you lived. Your journey is over, and now you are in God's Hands. Rest in Peace Mom.
