Michael Patrick Fennell

We are saddened to announce that Michael Patrick Fennell passed away on September 18,2021 at Abbotsford Regional Hospital. He was 77 years old. He was born on August 22, 1944 in Gander, Newfoundland and Labrador. He spent his very early years there before moving to Montreal, Quebec with his family. He grew up in and around Montreal and ultimately raised his own family there and in British Columbia.

He is survived by his wife Angela, daughter Barb (Steve) Randall, daughter Sheryl Fennell and son Michael Fennell Jr. Also survived by his grandchildren Shayne and Alana Randall, his brother Johnny (Ann) Fennell, sister Theresa Lawson and many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his parents John and Philomena Fennell, brothers Gerry Fennell and Tommy Fennell and his sisters Loretta Thomas and Barbara MacHale. He was also sadly predeceased by his youngest daughter Donna Fennell on November 2,2020.

Dad had many careers in his lifetime, but was most passionate about being a stockbroker in the Montreal Stock Exchange. His interests were politics, astronomy, geography and nature. He will most fondly be remembered for his enviable wit, his likable charm and his amazing sense of humor that was appreciated by many.

He will be forever loved and deeply missed by his family whom he cherished and loved very much.
