Raised in Liverpool, Norma left to start a new life in Canada at the age of 18.
She eventually made her way to North Vancouver, BC and was proud to become a Canadian citizen. Norma is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Ken, her son Keith (Vanessa), daughter Karen (Dave), grandchildren Alex, Cole, Quinn, and Reid, her sister Ann (Bob), niece Gail, nephew James (Janet), great nieces Sarah, Lauren, and Emma, and her great nephew Josh.
Known for her quick wit, humour, and laughter, Norma worked numerous jobs to support herself and her family throughout her time in Canada. She retired from Bishops Jewellers in North Vancouver, and moved to Chilliwack 19 years ago to enjoy a quieter lifestyle.
She went on many trips during her retirement including driving across Canada, cruising to Alaska, flying to Las Vegas to see Celine Dion, travelling to England to visit old school friends, and cruising all the islands of Hawaii. She loved spending time with her family and friends and in the last few years she became part of a large group of community members that she and Ken joined regularly for lunch and potlucks. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew her.
There will be a celebration of life for Norma in the near future.
