Patricia Lynn Briggs

November 10, 1045 – April 16, 2015

Patricia passed away peacefully after suffering a massive heart attack. Pat was born in North Vancouver but was brought up in Oak River, Manitoba and moved back to the west coast after high school. Pat obtain her CDA certificate and worked in Dentistry in Surrey, BC for many years. Pat also lived in Brandon, Manitoba for a few years with her husband Barrie Briggs and returned to the west coast to be with their children in the past few years. Pat was an avid square dancer and was a member of the Chilliwack Rythm Wheelers amoungst several other square dance clubs to numerous to mention, Over the years Pat also volunteered with the Big Brothers Association and was a 911 Volunteer Crisis Councillor .

Pat was predeceased by her parents Eva Christena Minaker and Bazel Varnar Greenaway and her brother Robert Wayne. She is survived by her seven children:Son Robert Moore, Daughter Erin Moore,

Son David Moore, Grand Sons Darwin Moore, Andrew Moore

Daughter Crystal Moore,Step Son Darryn Briggs & Wanda RathgeberStep Daughter Heidi Briggs Grand Daughter Breanna BriggsStep Son Dennis Briggs & Ann Anderson and Grand Daughter Kelsey Gibson, and Grand Son Evan Gibson. She is also survived by her sister Beverley Caron, husband Ray Caron and niece Michelle Caron and husband Lou Seiler and nephew Maurice Caron, and also grand nice Sarah Laturnus and grand nephew John Evans and wife Lindsay Evans.

I would like to make special thanks to the Chilliwack Paramedic Team and the Staff at the Chilliwack Hospital and a special thanks to the care and attention provided by the ICU of Surrey Memorial Hospital who went over and above to provide for Pat and also helped the family through this difficult time.

A Celebration of life will be held at Pat's home at 46194 First Avenue Chilliwack on Saturday April 25, 2015 as a drop in from Noon till 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please pay something forward even a cup of coffee for someone you don''t know. I do know, Pat would be smiling over this kindness.
