Rita May Cameron

Rita is survived by her loving husband, Doug; her daughter, Shelly; son-in-law, Sean; and her beloved grandchildren, Nick, Spencer, and Lauren. She is also survived by her brother, Ron.

Rita is predeceased by her parents, Charles and Agnes Funnell.

Rita was a passionate golfer, always finding joy on the greens. She loved traveling in her RV, whom she called “GOLDIE”. exploring new places and creating unforgettable adventures. Rita and her loving husband of 58 years, Doug, travelled around different parts of the world, creating beautiful memories together. Watching her grandsons play hockey brought her immense happiness and joy. She also loved cheering on her granddaughter as a gymnast, celebrating her achievements with enthusiasm.

Rita treasured gathering with her social circle, sharing stories and laughter. She maintained close contact with her co-workers from MDA, a testament to her enduring friendships and the impact she had on those around her.

Her spirit, kindness and zest for life will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
