Susan
Susan passed away at the age of 92 early in the morning of Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at the Chilliwack Hospital. She was born in Schoenviese, SK and was a longtime resident of Vancouver BC until March 2009 when she moved to Eden Care Home in Chilliwack. Susan was married to Jim Ryan, who left her in 1950 to raise their 2 children on her own. She was a strong, resilient woman.
Susan was predeceased by her parents and most of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son Edward of Ontario; her daughter Shirley of England; brother Ben of Saskatchewan; sister Mary of Alberta; sister Sarah of BC; 7 great grandchildren, Kody, Kasey, Jessica, Tyler, Melisa, Alexa, and Kyle; and many nieces and nephews. Susan will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 24 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home, 45865 Hocking Ave, Chilliwack followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 pm; Pastor Rick Bryson officiating.
