Happy Birthday Trace, You’re Still in my head everyday.

I found your old football the other day, the one we used to toss all the time. I miss when We were young and you used to break me out of school all the time and go where the road took us on your old moped, when we used to live together and you’d always come in my room and blast music on my sub to wake me up for school, or when we rode our bikes all the way to island 22 just to get eaten alive by some skeeters. I miss all them nights we’d run the streets till the sun came up, having drunk 7/11 wings at 3am, all them nights at gill just  absolute disastrous nights lmao. when you got your apartment down by central  and used to call me out the blue all the time, tellin me ride my bike over for some steak and beers cause you needed company. the time some crackhead robbed my hat and you tracked him down, still never wore it again haha. or when after uncle died and you taught me to control my anger then brought me to a construction bin and we were punching drywall all day. The way i spent my whole life looking up to you, you were a badass but you were still the kindest person i knew, even with the hell i brung upon you, you still treated me no different then a Brother, i’ll spend everyday of my life looking up to you, an one day when i make it, Brother your name will be written all over, because even tho you’re gone in physical form, you’ll be the one to have shaped me into that man.
That night replays in my mind and i don’t know how to stop it yet, but our memories i use to drown it out, 4 years you’ve been gone that i can barely remember any of cause i refused to let new ones blur out ours. 
i gotta accept it now, which is f*ckin crazy cause it feel like it was just a couple months ago, but incase i forget any of these memories i’ll be able to come back to this. {Trace Else, An Amazing Father, A remarkable entrepreneur, A better Big Brother than anyone could ask for, He had a heart like no other, A mind capable of anything, he was taken to soon. Keep his name alive.

A man never truly dies unless forgotten, pass his memory on and he’ll stay alive in your soul.

Hope you’re resting easy buddy ! Wow can’t believe another year has passed since you been gone . Well Ella-Rose is 5 now sassy as ever super smart , above all the students in her year she can write , read , spell , she dances on Saturday and does ballet , tap and musical theatre … yep you heard that one right she loves to sing ! We hope you’re doing well up there… and looking down on bells and seeing how wonderful she is thriving and I’m sorry and hope one day you can forgive me with changing her last name … she doesn’t need the trauma at a very young age so hubby and I decided that would be what was best for her and her well being … we will of coarse tell her about her daddy in heaven when she is old enough to understand but of coarse we will tell her she was lucky to have 2 daddies who loved her and wanted nothing but the best for her … I hope your kicking up a party in heaven . One thing I’ve learnt from grief is forgiveness and I hope one day you can forgive me for moving across the world with Ella and when we meet one day I hope we can be friends :)

We threw ballons up in the sky for you today trace and ella absolutely loved it , we could sense your presence as out of 3 ballons 2 flew and one popped and infact the one that popped was the big letter T , we sure do miss you and hope heaven is treating you nicely , ella is doing so well here and progressing so well you would be proud of our little girl not a day goes by where we don’t think of you darling x rest easy and hope the mountains are keeping you well untill next time buddy x 

Yesturday was 6 months you passed away … not a day doesn’t go by where we don’t think about you we drove an hour and bit to find a tim hortans in england to have your favourite large double double and went to a castle to fly a ballon up in air to you love you and miss you dearly Ella is doing fabulous she is thriving in all her stages and she had a appt for her foot yesturday and got told she’s got a arm for throwing just like you said …. I hope heaven is treating you well

We miss you every single day , miss hearing that giggle that funny laugh your big smile , I miss throwing you parties that you said you hated but secretly loved every time ... I miss that your daughter is here growing she starts her first day off pre school Monday , she’s growing up lovely trace , she knows a lot of words she is making sentences, she’s just like you she has no fear in the world , her eyes are becoming more and more like your eye colour. Sometimes I look at her and I see you fully ... we are going to the beach today sending off a ballon in the sky for you and getting your favourite fish and chips , I am finding this hard without you , you don’t know what you have till it’s gone and I feel that now more than ever not a day goes by and I don’t think about you ... we say goodnight to you every night looking through pictures and videos Ella says hi daddy night daddy I promise to always cherish you Trace and what a beautiful dad you are ! Trace Else.
A genuine human being. He was one of the few left on this earth that had a true heart of gold. If you’re here you knew Trace like the rest of us. And, if you knew Trace he had made you laugh at least once, he had probably put a smile on your face. If you knew Trace you had probably gone on some sort of adventure with him, through the forest, or at a lake maybe a river. He left an impact on your life just like he had mine and many others. My fondest memory of Trace would have to be from last year. Me and one of his close friends (the reason I came to know Trace) Chris were driving and got a flat. We were an hour away from home and had no spare. After calling everyone on our contacts Chris called Trace. And he came. He came to our rescue went out of his way to take us home and back to get a spare, and make sure we made it home safe. He never asked for anything in return. Trace is the kind of man you’d hope to see your son grow into. The type of person you hope you can get to know. And I was lucky enough to get to know him. And so were you. So in these moments of darkness we lean on each other. We cherish these moments that we take for granted. As we should. Trace wouldn’t want us to dwell on sadness but to keep his memory alive. And anyone who knew Trace knew his memory shouldn’t be sad. There will always be so much love for you here Trace. Ride high, and Rest In Peace. Rest In Paradise. Rest In a Place that makes you happy.

Trace and I were in Darcie greenlands class together and during that time I think everyone was finding their way with hard times. Trace was always there every rough morning to have a smoke and coffee and would listen any time I needed him. He and Brody were strong supports in helping me through a rough time. Traces ability to feel compassion and bring a smile to your face is a recipe only special people can bake into life. I am so very thankful I had such a kind soul touch my life at a time I needed it. With that being said, it makes it that much harder that he’s been taken away. What I would do to have one more smoke and double double is unfathomable. But I promise to help his name live on the way his wild heart would’ve if he was here. Stay wild up there Trace. 

I'm so sorry Shadow to hear the loss of your son Trace. May he RIP. My memories of Trace is him coming into the bank to see his gramma Juanita,  she loved your children and truly thought of them as her grandchildren.  Remember all the good memories of your son.  

Trace we left our Daughter in your hands we trusted you and that shows how much we thought of you.  You really did experience true love and it was lovely to watch you were a lucky man people go years and never find that. You loved our daughter and granddaughter with all your heart I know that you will be watching over them helping to guide them through life and make the decisions. We will miss you very much but never forget you we will also encourage Ella to never forget you either.

Trace you were an amazing soul mate , fantastic father and a funny BESTFRIEND , you brought life into every conversation not a day doesn’t go by where I don’t think about you ,and our daughter is just like her dad no fear in the world and I promise to honour you till the day I die , and shower Ella-rose with all the good memories about you , I know we had our ups and downs but I will never forget about you everytime I look at Ella I see you , your smile , your laugh, your personality coming though she will know what an amazing father you were to her and that you will be watching her every day I keep telling her look for the sun , see that and you will see daddy now she points at sky and says daddy. Trace I just want to tell you I love you and forever will and I promise to always have Ellas back for the both of us. Enjoy being up there in the mountains doing your burns out and crazy tricks on your quads have a cold one for us  and as you always said just going for a rip bud
