Wesley Larry Neufeld, age 73 of Chilliwack, B.C. passed away peacefully on Monday, February 20, 2023. He was born in Rosthern, Saskatchewan, and after completing high school, moved to British Columbia where he lived and worked to retirement.
Wes was an avid outdoorsman, loved hunting, fishing and spending most of the year enjoying nature at his cabin in the Christian Valley.
Wes’s outdoor adventures came to a sudden end when a strep infection in his spine confined him to life in a wheelchair. In spite of his disabilities, Wes exhibited an extraordinary will to enjoy his life to the fullest. He enjoyed reading, watching sports on television, and teasing his caregivers. He found both pleasure and comfort in the many visits from his nephews, nieces and friends.
He is survived by his soulmate Sandra Brown and many loving nieces, nephews, siblings and friends.
