Carrie Lee Raymer

Mrs. Carrie Lee Raymer, 89 of Salisbury passed away on Friday September 4, 2015 at her residence. Born on October 8, 1925 in Iredell County, she was the daughter of the late Other Stanhope Westmoreland and Julia Estelle Whitley Westmoreland. Educated in the Iredell County Schools, she attended Eastside Baptist Church. She was a CNA, working in local nursing homes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husbands, Gene Austin and Riley Raymer and her brother Marvin Westmoreland. Those left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren, Donald Raymer (Jenny), Johnny Raymer and Betty Jenkins (Tommy), her great grandchildren, David Benson (Kathy), Michael Benson (Ashley), Crystal Bare, Barbara Riggs (Charlie) and Travis Raymer (Kristian). Also surviving her are her great great grandchildren, Natalie Duenas, Skylar Miller, Ashley Kerr (Justin), Jovi Riggs, Tyler Raymer, Mathis Sipes, Shianne Beaver and Aiden Bare, and her great great great grandchildren, Allison Kerr and Bryson Schwartz.
