Clifford A. Goodman Sr

Mr. Clifford Alexander Goodman Sr. 83 of Salisbury passed away at his home on Thursday August 11, 2016. Born in Rowan County, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary Smith Goodman. He attended Rowan County Schools and St. Pauls Lutheran Church. Mr. Goodman worked earlier for R. C. Bottling Company for 41 years and then for Independent Beverage Company where he retired after 18 years of service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by a son Clifford Alexander Goodman Jr. a brother Luther Goodman and a sister Dorothy G. Atwell. Those left to cherish his memory is his wife of 35 years, Sarah Gantt Goodman, daughter Cheryl Goodman Misenheimer (Jimmy) and son Randy Lee Goodman (Cindy) both of Salisbury and honorary son Thomas Wayne Graham and honorary daughter Angela R. Graham both of China Grove. Also surviving him are his 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Saturday from 1:00 til 1:45 at St. Pauls Lutheran Church with funeral at 2:00 also at the church with Pastor. D. J. Lura, minister. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
