

.Mrs. Daisy Roseman Sechler, age 97 of China Grove passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Autumn Care Nursing Home. Mrs. Sechler was born on September 22, 1924 in Rowan County and was the daughter of the late Mildred Roseman. She was educated in the Rowan County Schools and worked for many years at Cannon Mills. Daisy was a longtime active member of First United Methodist Church in China Grove where she received a perfect attendance recognition for 21 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Women and the Nora Dayvault Sunday School Class. Her faithfulness in all aspects of the church were remarkable. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, making afghans and making dish rags at Christmas for all members of the family. She loved being with her family very much.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband of many years, Vernon Sechler and her daughter Evelyn Sechler Sain. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Carol Moss (Harold), Son Jimmy Sechler (Jan), son in law David Sain, grandchildren Lloyd Moss, (Dawn), Melody Newton, (Glen), Brent Sechler (Jenny), Deneen Nance (Ray), Jeff Sain (Lori), and Julie Cordora (Mike), great grandchildren Cody Shoaf (Brittany), Haley Newton (Shaq), Amanda Lanani, Matthew Hunter, Aubrie Nance, Alex Cordora, and Dustin Nance. Great Great Grandchildren are Bentlee Shoaf, Maxton Shoaf, Lotti Josiah and Carolyn Josiah.
Visitation will be on Monday, September 19, 2022 at First United Methodist Church from 2:00 till 3:00 PM with funeral services to follow at the church at 3:00 pm with Pastor William Van Wieren, officiating.
Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 110 W. Church St. China Grove, NC 28023.
