ADonald "Donny" Alexander Raymer, 61 of China Grove, passed away on Sunday January 19, 2014 at his residence. Born on November 27, 1952 in Rowan County, he was the son of the late Harry Alexander and Wavy Potts Raymer.
A graduate of South Rowan High School, he was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Mr. Raymer worked for the NC State Bridge Department as a supervisor. He was Troop Leader and Scout Master for Troop #315 for 40 years.
Those left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Richard Raymer of Salisbury, Gary and Steve Raymer both of China Grove and Terry Raymer of Spencer and sister Dorothy "Dot" Raymer of San Francisco, Calif. and three nephews and two nieces.
Visitation will be on Friday from 7:00 til 9:00 at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove, with funeral on Saturday at 11:00 am at Grace Lutheran Church, with Rev. Jerome Cloninger, minister. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
