Frankie Dabbs

Born in Rowan County on November 12, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Hilary Frank Jones and Helen Edith Wood Jones.

In addition to her parents, Frankie was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard Wayne Dabbs on October 20, 2020; her brother, Hilary Frank Jones, Jr. and sister, Mary Jones Rollings.

Frankie worked as a bookkeeper and was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. During her later years, she attended Concordia Lutheran Church.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Wayne Dabbs and Melinda, of Mooresville; two grandchildren, Erin Wolff and husband, Jon and Mackenzie Dabbs (Justin Harvell) ; three great-grandchildren, Annaliese, Nolan and Hudson; sister-in-law, Susan Jones, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 10:00 AM at West Lawn Memorial Park with Eddie Karriker officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the request is that memorials be sent to Concordia Lutheran Church – Building Fund c/o 185 Concordia Church Road China Grove, NC 28023 or to Rowan Hospice & Palliative Care 720 Grove Street Salisbury, NC 28144.
