Harry Lee Morrison

Mr. Harry Lee Morrison 88 of Salisbury, passed away on Monday March 3, 2014 at Carillon Assisted Living. Born on May 16, 1925 in Rowan County, he was the son of the late John Brown and Nanette Clary Morrison. A graduate of China Grove High School, he was a lifelong member of Thyatira Presbyterian Church. He was a farmer and a charter member of Millbridge Ruritan. Those left to cherish his memory is his wife of 34 years, Rebecca Graham Morrison. Also surviving him are his brothers John Morrison of Milton Ga. and Terry Morrison (Barbara) of China Grove, sisters Nancy Phillips (Robert) of Statesville, Tommie Morrison of Kernersville and Ina Sue Johnson of Vale.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday March 5 at 11 :00 am at Thyatira Presbyterian Cemetery, with Rev. Dr. Bill Lindeman, presiding. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall following the service. The family would like to thank the staff of Carillon Assisted Living and Rowan Hospice for their compassionate care for Mr. Morrison.
