Janice Lipe

Born August 15th, 1967, in Stanly County, North Carolina, Janice was the beloved daughter of Luke White Tucker(deceased) and Sadie Mae Tucker. She is the daughter-in-law of Harry Lee Lipe and Julia Safley Lipe, who loved her as their own.

Janice is survived by her devoted husband Derek Thomas Lipe; daughter, Katelyn Marie Lipe; son, Matthew Benjermin Hinson; grandchildren, Connor Grady Hinson and Ellie Pearl Hinson.

Those also to treasure her memories are her siblings Kenneth Wayne Tucker, Bobby Gene Tucker, Ronald Lee Tucker, Debra Tucker Swaringen and Crystal Dawn Tucker.

Janice was a woman of deep faith, known for her devotion to Christ and her family.

She worked at West Rowan High School as a nutrition specialist manager. She loved the lady's she worked with and loved all the children. She enjoyed being able to feed all the kids no matter their situations. Even in the summer she would work the summer meals program, which provided meals to kids across the county. Her second job was working with the ABC store in Rowan /Cabarrus.

In her spare time Janice loved to go to the beach. She always loved laying in the sun and just relaxing. it was her peaceful getaway.

A visitation will be held for Janice at Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church on June 7th,2025 1pm- 2pm. Followed by a funeral service from 2-3pm. Burial will follow at the church's cemetery.
