Jeanne Vanessa Eaurt Sterling

Born in Rowan County on November 14, 1951, she was the daughter of the late David Caldwell Eaurt and Minnie Lee Rodgers Eaurt.

She was a 1969 graduate of East Rowan High School; graduated from Rowan-Cabarrus Community College in 1990 with a Business Degree and worked at the Rowan Public Library from 1990-2015. She was also a member of Resurrection Life Church.

Vanessa loved to travel. Some of her experiences took her to Russia, over 20 different states within the USA and the Caribbean.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Delbert M. Sterling, who she married on October 13, 1998; step-daughter, Lorraine Sterling of Clearwater, FL.; two brothers, Monte Gillette Baucom and David Reginald Eaurt; nieces and nephews and many friends.

The family will receive friends Monday, August 5, 2024 from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM at Resurrection Life Church 627 Newsome Road Salisbury, NC.

The funeral service will begin at 12:30 PM at the church with Pastor Jerry Snipes officiating. Burial will follow at City Memorial Park.
