

Born in Rowan County on February 18, 1992, he was the son of Christopher Eric Reece and Lycia Dee Osborne Penninger.
Caleb went to Carson High School and enjoyed many things, which included his love for his family; taking walks with his brother “Bubby”; video games, computers and his cell phone. He was an avid fan of Iron Man, Spider Man, Marvel characters and Harry Potter.
His grandmother, Martha Reece, and one uncle, Mark Reece, preceded him in death.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother and “sidekick”, Lycia Dee Osborne Penninger and Fiancé, Robert Earl Myrick, Jr.; his father, Christopher Eric Reece and wife, Tamisha Hopkins Reece; brother, Christian Tyler Reece and wife, Carigan Arnez Reece; grandparents, Bobby Reece, Sr. and Steve and wife, Sharon Osborne.
His uncles, Bobby Reece, Jr. and Stevie Osborne (Melanie); his aunt, Kristy Hudson and husband, Trey Hudson; his cousin, Garrett Brewer and wife Ashley and their family Kael and Keely; and his best friend, Brodie, his canine companion, further survive Caleb.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 14, 2022 from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home.
A service to celebrate Caleb will begin at 6:00 PM in the Northcrest Chapel of Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home with Pastor Don Crusenberry officiating.
