Kathy Roberts Lineberry

Kathy was born in Concord, NC to her parents, Helen L. Roberts and Earl T. Roberts on January 4, 1948. She is predeceased by her parents.

Kathy was maried to John A. Lineberry at Roberta United Methodist Church on October 23, 1971. Their 43 years of marriage took them from Charlotte, NC, where they met to Concord, NC, to Raleigh, NC, to Philadelphia, Pa. to Salisbury NC where they resided for 22 years. While living in Salisbury, she worked for First Baptist Preschool and then Isenburg Elementary as a teachers assistant for nine years. They were members of First Presbyterian Church with their first arriving in Salisbury, then Milford Hills United Methodist Church and for the past 20 plus years, Thyatira Presbyterian Church. She loved to work with young children and with farm animals and worked tour seasons for Patterson Farms. Kathy will always be remembered for her positive approach to life. She is survived by her husband John A. Lineberry and her daughter Amanda (Mandy) Bates and son in law Jay D. Bates. Kathy will be missed greatly by everyone who had to pleasure of knowing her.

Visitation will be held on Saturday April 11, 2015 from 10:00 til 11:00 am at Thyatira Presbyterian Church with memorial service following at 11:00 also at the church with Rev.Bill Lindeman, minister. The inurnment will follow at the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Thyatira Presbyterian Church 220 White Rd. Salisbury, NC 28147.
