Born in Iredell County, he was the son of Larry Eugene Hudson, Sr., who survives, and the late Edith Honeycutt Hoyt.
In addition to his mother, Larry was also preceded in death by his wife, Sherry and one brother, Donnie Hudson.
Larry served in the United States National Guard and worked at Blacks Tire Service before becoming disabled.
He loved riding his motorcycle when he was able, and he loved his canine companions.
Those left to cherish his memory are his father, Larry Eugene Hudson, Sr; stepmother, Cathy Rowe Hudson; sons, Christian and Nathan Hudson; brother, Henry Lee Hudson (Jamie) and sisters, Janice Hoyt (Tim Hoyt, Sr.) and Michelle Woods (Mark).
He is further survived by his nephews and nieces, Austin Hudson (Hannah), William Hudson, Timothy Hoyt, Jr., Tiffany Marquez (Rafael), Caitlyn Parham, Angel Woods and Devin Parham.
The family will receive friends Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM from at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home.
