

Born on June 15, 1942 Landis, Rowan County, he was the son of the late James Arthur Ball and Gladys Marlow Ball. Marvin was also preceded in death by one brother, Andrew Ball and two sisters, Evelene Ball and Dorothy Ball.
Marvin was a longtime member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He worked for Pioneer Manufacturing and Cannon Mills - Swink Plant as a custodian. He also worked at Ketner’s Cafeteria and Popes Restaurant as a dishwasher.
Those left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Willis Ball and Samuel Ball and sisters, Lorene Burgess and Linda Tidwell along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 10:00 AM till 11:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1255 Julian Rd. Salisbury, with funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM
Burial will be held at 2:00 PM at The Latter Day Saints Cemetery on Balls Mill Road. North Wilkesboro, NC 28658
