Mary Frances Gregory Faggart

Mrs. Frances Gregory Faggart, 80 of China Grove, passed away on Sunday May 8, 2016 at her home. Born on June 3, 1935 in Cabarrus County, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Bertha Lewis Gregory. She attended Kannapolis City Schools and was a member of First United Methodist Church in China Grove. She worked at Innes Street Drug Co. as a bookkeeper, followed by working at Shatner Leather Company before becoming a full time mother and housewife. She was very crafty and enjoyed doing stain glass crafts as well as quilting, cross stiching, gardening, growing flowers and cooking. She also had a deep passion for animals, especially for the many cats she had over the years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her son Tony Martin “Marty” Faggart in 1985. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband George Faggart of China Grove and daughter Robin Faggart of Kannapolis as well as Mr. and Mrs Woody Campbell and Lori Treiber who were close family and friends.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2:00 until 3:00 at Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove with the funeral service starting at 3:00 also at the funeral home with Rev. Mike Goode, minister. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park.
