Natalie"Kim" Staley, 59, of China Grove, North Carolina, passed away on March 5, 2026. She was the daughter of Steven and Anita Staley. Kim will be remembered for the steady warmth she brought to those who knew her and the sincere care she showed in both quiet and everyday ways.
Kim loved her dogs. Krisee and the late Gizmo were truly one of the parts of Kim that made her whole as a person. They were not just dogs to her; they were her children.
Kim especially enjoyed having sleepovers with her mom—staying up late, watching movies, and simply having a good time together. Those closest to her knew she could be hardheaded and stubborn, a trait she got from her father Steven—something many would mention with affection, saying she was “just like him”.
She never forgot about a big event and faithfully sent cards in the mail to others for their important days, a reflection of her thoughtful and caring spirit. Kim also loved going to her church and spending time with her church family. She always wore a smile and that is how she would like to be remembered. Smiling and walking on the beach with her savior Jesus Christ at her side.
Kim was preceded in death by her father, Steven Staley, and her brother, Allen Staley.
Those Left to cherish her memories are her mother, Anita Beaver Staley; her niece, Leah Barringer (William and their three children); her nephew, Donavan Staley (Mary and their three children); her friend, Angela Deese; and friend David Polk, who is resuming care of her beloved golden retriever, Krisee.Kim is also survived by many other extended family members, including aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Memorial service celebrating Kim’s life will be held at Rodgers Park Reformed Church in Kannapolis on March 14, 2026, at 11:00am. Flowers may be sent to Linn-Honeycutt funeral home but must be delivered on Friday, March 13th by Noon.
