

Mr. Rickie Lynn Morris, age 66 of Salisbury, passed away Monday, December 25th 2023 at Atrium Health Cabarrus after a brief illness. Born August 30, 1957, in Union County, he was the son of the late Bernice Trull Williams.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Debra Hyman Morris, brothers Tony Williams, Randy Williams and Jerry “Bo” Trull and grandmother Eunice Williams.
Rick loved motorcycles, music and was an avid CB radio user. He built great friendships over the years with his fellow operators and he will forever be known as “Dodge Man.”
Those left to cherish his memory are his step-daughters Amanda Burris-Hinson and Cheryl Tomlin (Robert), his grandsons Zach Hinson and Justin Boone; his CB radio brothers, Donnie “Blue Eagle” Baugh, Jeff “Sundrop” Carpenter, Joshua “Grease Monkey” Needham, Kevin “Buckey” Philemon, Josh “Nobody” Watkins and Jonathan “Double R” Wilhoit.
He is also survived by sisters, Diane Morris, Judy Williams, Nancy Williams and Sherry Jenkins and his brother Robert Williams.
A celebration of life and memorial motorcycle ride will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to South Rowan Animal Hospital (50118), 502 North Main St. China Grove, NC 28023. Those donations will be used for the care of his dogs Baby and Lucy.
